Information on arrival and stay


BEFORE ARRIVAL:

Before arriving at the agreed accommodation in theholiday home "U 2 SOVIČEK", it is necessary to send the final number of accommodated persons including data for the guest book (required: name and surname, ID or passport number, date of birth, permanent address) for payment of the recreation fee to the local authority in Jablonec nad Jizerou - the current price for 2026 is 20 CZK / person / day).
A deposit of 250 Euro / 6 250 CZK is required, which must be paid BEFORE ARRIVAL to the account number:

ARRIVAL and start of accommodation in the holiday home "U 2 SOVIČEK" is on the first day of the agreed accommodation any time after 4 pm, or earlier as agreed with the lessor.

PARKING:

Parking at the holiday home is FREE - 2 covered parking spaces.

If there are more cars, you can park next to the porch of the house or opposite the house next to the railway line (but these places are not maintained in winter).

KEYS and ENTRY

The keys to the holiday home are in the key box (key box) located right next to the entrance on the left side (black key box). The password to the mailbox will be sent to you on the day of arrival. In the keybox are the keys to the porch and to the house itself.

The second set of keys is in the vestibule of the house on a hanger.

If you slam the porch door and don't have the keys with you, contact the owner immediately (we have placed another box with the key to the porch) - contact: +420 775 205 305 // +420 777 030 050.

Opening the mailbox: you uncover the plastic cover of the mailbox from top to bottom - a keyboard appears on which you enter the code, move the big button downwards = this opens the mailbox. Close the mailbox in a similar way = you enter the code, scroll down and click the mailbox, return the plastic cover. If you make a mistake while entering the code or the mailbox does not open after entering the code, pull the "C" button down - this will reset the code entry.

FOOTWEAR:

We recommend bringing flip flops/slippers. The lower floor of the holiday home has vinyl flooring / tiles. There is a carpet on the stairs and on the upper floor (here, on the contrary, there is a ZONE WITHOUT SHOES).

We recommend wearing shoes suitable for the mountains and according to the season.

Walking in shoes is prohibited in the house itself. It is best to take off your shoes on the veranda, where there are also shoe drainers and electric shoe dryers. Please do not walk on the porch in ski boots (jumpers).

VERANDA / SKI ROOM:

The veranda offers space for putting things (luggage, skis, etc.) on arrival and departure. If the guest carries the bags straight into the house, they usually get the floor in the hallway dirty. At the back of the veranda there is garden furniture for relaxing moments, perhaps with a coffee in hand.

In winter, the veranda also functions as a "ski room" - 4 holders for skis and poles, but bobsleighs / sleds, etc. can also be hung on the holders. During the winter season, there are also shoe dryers in this part of the veranda (ski boots / helmets / gloves, etc.).


TERRACE:

The terrace is covered, lit and accessible from May to December, outside of this period the garden furniture is "winterized". Use the terrace as you like, next to the garden furniture there is a plastic box in which there are cushions, pillows and blankets. Please fold these up after use before departure and return them neatly to the box. In the period from 15.10. until 30.4. the terrace is not maintained.

DO NOT SIT ON THE BOX!

GRILL:

The grill is located in the passage between the living room and the terrace. The grill is for charcoal, which is not included and we do not supply it (sometimes it is left over from previous guests / can be purchased at a gas station or shop in the center of Jabloneček). The location of the grill on the terrace is indicated by a sign - use only outside the roofed part of the terrace and outside the grass carpet! A "small" terrace is intended for the grill, which connects to the terrace. The grill is available from April/May to September/October, it is not available during the winter season. After using the grill, clean it before leaving and put it back in the house (do not leave it in the rain).

IT IS PROHIBITED TO USE THE GRILL OR OTHERWISE SPREAD FIRE (HEAT SOURCE) UNDER THE TERRACE ROOF - in case of damage to the roof, a flat rate of 50,000 CZK is charged!!!

BIKE ROOM:

The bicycle shed, next to the covered parking spaces, is used from May to November primarily for the storage of bicycles, possibly their repair and maintenance, for the storage of bicycle racks, strollers, etc. The keys are in a separate box, the code from this box is sent if the guests are cyclists and they take their bikes. In the period from 15.10. until 30.4. there is no bike shed available (it serves as storage for sunbeds, armchairs, tables, sofas, etc.).

BALCONY:

The balcony on the second floor is available for guests from 15.4. until 15.10. There are 2 chairs on the balcony and it is possible to smoke.

CHILDREN:

For very small children, you have a dining chair stored in the utility room (the door by the TV in the living room). There are steps in the bathrooms so that even the smaller ones can reach the sink. There is a potty in the lower toilet.

For the children, we have prepared toys, darts, a folding table for drawing, a blackboard for painting - all in the walk-through room. There is also a smart TV with the possibility of applications - Netflix, O2 TV, Spotify, YouTube.

INTERNET:

Internet is free. There are 2 different wifis downstairs and upstairs but both have the same code.

COFFEE MAKER:

Guests have access to a Nespresso capsule coffee machine. The guests provide themselves with capsules for the coffee machine according to their preferences and likes.

WELLNESS:

The sauna is available for guests all year round, towels and sheets are available free of charge at the sauna. Please follow the rules of sauna use. Salt stones are also available all year round. We prepare the hot tub at the end of May / beginning of June (until max. 15.6.) and guests can use it free of charge until September, provided they follow the rules.

HEAT:

The heat is provided by an electric boiler in combination with underfloor heating, direct heaters or infrared heaters. The thermostat temperature is set to 22 degrees. The boiler cannot run at certain times - the times are determined by ČEZ. From May to the end of September the boiler is turned off - in case of colder days / nights you can always light a fire in the fireplace (thanks to the water exchanger, the heat is distributed throughout the house) or contact the owner to turn on / adjust the boiler).

The ladders in the bathrooms are turned on at night to dry towels. The floor heating in the bathrooms is set from September to the end of April. More about heat here.

DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE THERMOSTAT SETTINGS!!! - if you need to increase the temperature, please contact the landlord / administrator. In case of resetting the thermostat, a technician's visit fee of 1,000 CZK (+ 21% VAT) may be charged.

CAMERAS:

There are cameras installed on the veranda (by the road) to secure the property when no one is staying. During the guest's stay, they are in PRIVATE MODE = they do not monitor the surroundings, they only protect themselves in case of unauthorized manipulation. The cameras are set to detect the movement of people, opening doors, etc. - they have a precisely set location (detection area), therefore it is forbidden to manipulate / move / cover the cameras in any way. In the event of unauthorized manipulation of the cameras, a fee may be charged for the technician's visit (who must reset the cameras), 1,000 CZK (+ 21% VAT).


SMOKING:

The interior spaces of the holiday home are NON-SMOKING. You can smoke on the terrace or under the roof of the parking spaces - please do not throw "vaigls" on the ground or around the house.

INFORMATION:

The boards in the living room contain more detailed information on using the fireplace, the possibility of using a folding table, heat and water heating, and safety. ACCOMMODATION ORDERS are also available.


DEPARTURE:

DEPARTURE is at the latest before 10 a.m. on the last day of the agreed accommodation. Departure information will be sent prior to departure.

Leave one set of keys on a hanger in the hallway. Please put the second set of keys back in the key box after leaving the holiday home.
