OPERATING RULES

OPERATING RULES for the "U 2 SOVIČEK" recreational cottage

Dear guests, we kindly ask you to observe the guidelines set out in the operating rules for the "U 2 SOVIČEK" cottage. These rules have been established to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.

1. Arrival and Departure

1.1 Guests must provide the necessary details for the accommodation register (guest book) no later than the day of arrival, in accordance with previously sent instructions.

1.2 Guests are required to pay the local tourist tax, the amount of which is determined by the binding ordinances of the town of Jablonec nad Jizerou (as currently in force). For guests not booking via Booking.com, local taxes will be deducted from the security deposit.

1.3 Guests must notify the property manager of their arrival at the cottage using the phone number listed below (via SMS, call, or WhatsApp message).

1.4 If a guest discovers any defects upon taking over the cottage, they must report them to the property manager immediately.

1.5 Motor vehicles may only be parked in designated areas.

1.6 On the day of departure, guests must leave the cottage in the condition specified in the instructions and place the set of keys in the keybox; departure must take place by 10:00 AM (unless otherwise agreed with the manager). Departure must also be announced to the property manager by phone (at which time any damage caused by the guest should also be reported).

1.7 A cleaning service will inspect the cottage; in the event of soiling or damage, the guest will be contacted immediately, and the cost of the resulting damage will be charged to the guest.

2. Guest Conduct Rules

2.1 Upon entering the cabin, guests must change into indoor footwear and wear such footwear throughout the cabin premises.

2.2 Smoking and lighting fires are strictly prohibited inside the cabin, with the exception of the fireplace in the common room. Lighting fires in designated outdoor areas is permitted provided an adult is present at all times and the fire is subsequently properly extinguished (e.g., in the grill).

2.3 Pets are not permitted (unless an exception has been agreed upon with the caretaker).

2.4 The use of personal electrical appliances inside the cabin is prohibited (this does not apply to personal hygiene appliances).

2.5 Guests are liable for any damage to the cabin, its furnishings, or equipment, as well as for the loss of keys, whether caused by negligence or intentional action.

2.6 Guests may not move furnishings, make alterations, or tamper with the electrical system or other installations without the consent of the operator or their authorized representative; tampering with the thermostat is also prohibited.

2.7 Littering outside designated areas or otherwise polluting the environment is prohibited.

3. Liability for Personal Injury and Property Damage

3.1 Guests are responsible for securing their belongings to prevent theft or damage, including items left in parked motor vehicles. The cabin operator is liable for the loss of or damage to such items only under the conditions and up to the limits established by civil law regulations. 3.2 Guests' property is insured against theft only in cases involving forced entry; therefore, it is essential to lock the main entrance and guest rooms at all times.

3.3 The operator has taken all necessary measures to prevent injury to guests. However, the operator assumes no liability for guests' health during normal operations; guests are therefore requested not to leave persons under their care unattended. The health and lives of guests are not insured by the operator.

3.4 Every guest is required to immediately report any fire hazard or situation requiring police intervention or medical attention to the chalet operator or their designated representative, and to do their utmost to prevent the spread of fire or avert imminent danger. Emergency contact numbers:

      CARETAKER: 777 030 050            EMERGENCY: 112           FIRE DEPT: 150

      CARETAKER: 775 205 305            POLICE: 158                     FIRST AID: 155

4. Miscellaneous

4.1 Bed linen and towels are changed after each guest's stay or upon request.

4.2 Drying laundry on ELECTRIC radiators is strictly prohibited due to the increased risk of fire.

4.3 Any defects or issues must be reported to the chalet caretaker immediately.

4.4 All guests are required to comply with these operating rules. 4.5 The operator or manager of the cottage reserves the right to terminate the accommodation agreement prior to the end of the agreed term, without a notice period, if the guest—despite being notified and warned—violates the obligations and prohibitions set forth in these operating rules. Upon notification of the termination of the accommodation agreement, the guest is required to vacate the cottage without delay. In such a case, the guest is not entitled to a refund of the agreed accommodation fee.

We wish you a pleasant and undisturbed stay.
