HEAT in the house

Heat in the holiday home U 2 SVIČEK is provided by an electric boiler, underfloor heating in the bathrooms, an electric ladder in the upper bathroom, electric and inverter heaters in the vestibule, staircase, upper corridor and veranda. At the same time, it is possible to use a fireplace with an exchanger as a heat source.

By default, the house is heated to 22 degrees Celsius (the thermostat is in the living room), the rooms are heated to the temperature that is set on the thermostatic heads. The bathrooms are each heated separately by floor heating and heating ladders. The corridors are heated by heaters with a programmed mode to ensure a temperature of around 20 degrees.

Using a fireplace with an exchanger:

If it is heated in the fireplace and the temperature in the living room exceeds the set 22 degrees Celsius, the main electric boiler is switched off. The fireplace has an exchanger, more is described in the instructions, which are located in the living room. If it is heated only by the fireplace, it is advisable to lower the thermostatic heads to level 2 (max. 3) so that the warm water from the fireplace exchanger circulates through the heating system more often and under greater pressure. If the temperature generated by the fireplace exceeds 25 degrees, which is not even healthy for the human body. We recommend opening the door to the vestibule and letting the heat rise up the corridor and stairs (instead of ventilation).

The electric heater (direct heater) in the vestibule is programmed and a temperature of 1500W is selected on the body of the direct heater. If there is a switch to a higher output, the heater will be switched off due to its own protection (it is located next to the wall).

IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PLACE ANYTHING on radiators or other heat sources (to dry clothes, etc.) - for drying gloves, shoes, etc. use the dryers on the veranda, for wet clothes then the dryer located in the bathroom on the ground floor).

The water
is heated separately by an electric boiler in the mode of 8 hours a day at times according to the electricity distributor (high tariff).

Keep in mind that any intervention in thermostats or temperature settings on direct heaters can generate a disproportion and thus thermal discomfort.

If a temperature change is required, contact the administrator / owner - everything is controlled remotely, so it is not a problem to change the temperature.

A suitable temperature for the human organism is around 22 degrees Celsius, that is why we have set the thermostat for living rooms at 22 degrees, in corridors, staircases, etc. the temperature is set to approx. 20 degrees Celsius, the bathrooms are then heated individually depending on the use of the ladder, floor heating.

Ventilation
- we do not recommend heating and keeping the windows permanently open. The rule in the winter season is to keep the windows closed and ventilate in bursts = open the window for a maximum of 1 minute, then close the window.

If one room is overheated, then there is a noticeable difference in feeling if it fits into a normally heated room (for example: if it is 25 degrees in a room and 19 degrees in the corridor, it is like when it is 5 degrees or minus 4 degrees outside).

Please consider what temperature is optimal for you, out of respect for the mountains and the environment in general, please do not overheat unnecessarily.
